HOW DOES IT WORK?

The LGBT+ Housing Initiative, through the KW Rainbow Network, is committed to encouraging home ownership in the LGBTQ+ community. To that end, if you are a member of the LGBTQ+ community and you are looking to buy or sell a home, by using a LGBT+ Housing Initiative agent you will receive a benefit 10 days after closing in the amount equal to 20% of you participating agent’s commission.

Because your agent is dedicated to the LGBTQ+ community, they have agreed to donate 25% of their commission to the LGBT+ Housing Initiative. That donation will be divided as follows:  

20% of the contribution will be given to you, the home buyer or seller, within 10 days of closing, so that you can make improvements to your home, make your first mortgage payment, or whatever you think is appropriate to do with the money. The full remaining 5% will be placed in a fund and at the end of every year, we will take 100% of those remaining funds and donate them to organizations across the United States and Canada, whose sole mission is to take LGBTQ+ homeless youth off the streets. 40% of all homeless youth in America are from our LGBTQ+ Community. The funds raised from this project will be given out for specific grants written by these organizations for activities designed to give these beautiful children a new life.   

It is that simple, use one of our agents and receive a financial benefit from the Housing Initiative, while helping homeless children get off the streets.

**While we intend to operate this program in all 50 states, some major metropolitan housing markets may not offer the 20% grant program. Other restrictions may apply, please check with you local, affiliated agent.
